How do I start a timer?
Turn the dial clockwise and release to start. Adjust in 15-second steps, up to 60 minutes. Tap Add 5 min to extend the timer, or Reset to clear it.
Why did the alarm not ring while locked?
Check Simmerdial's alarm permission in iOS Settings. If the app says system alerts are unavailable, keep the app open to hear the alert. After allowing permission, set the timer again and check that the warning is gone. The dial sound switch only controls the turning sound, not the system alarm.

How do I change language and appearance?
Open the settings menu at the top right to choose light, dark, or system appearance. The language option opens iOS Settings. English, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese are supported.
