A few things to know.
Which iPhones are supported?
Simmerdial requires iOS 26 or later. Dynamic Island countdowns are available on iPhones that support Dynamic Island.
Will it ring when I lock my phone?
Yes, when you allow system alerts and the timer is successfully scheduled. If permission is off or scheduling fails, the app explains the limitation. Keep the app open in that case.
Can I change the time while it runs?
Yes. Turn the dial to adjust the remaining time, tap to add five minutes, or reset to start over. The maximum is 60 minutes.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. Setting a timer, counting down, and system alerts work on your iPhone without an internet connection.
